SCANDINAVIAN TRAINED & HOLISTIC PHILOSOPHY
I am Lilo Ask-Henriksen. My journey began in 2007, driven by a deep interest in animal wellbeing and the body’s remarkable ability to adapt and maintain balance. This path was personal: it started with my pup Samba, who struggled with a compromised immune system and complex mobility issues.
My early approach was shaped through professional development in Sweden and the USA, where I developed a strong interest in combining traditional knowledge with modern evidence-informed practice.I then formalised this foundation by obtaining my Veterinary Nurse degree in Denmark, followed by years spent in a specialist clinical practice in Norway, where I focused on multi-tier post-operative rehabilitation.
Today, I combine Scandinavian training, practical experience and holistic wellbeing approaches to support dogs through every stage of life.. Whether I am providing personalised wellbeing programmes, advanced medical laser sessions or bespoke nutritional guidance, my focus is always on supporting comfort, mobility, resilience and quality of life.

My protocol integrates Advanced Medical Laser, Applied Zoopharmacognosy, Manual Therapy and Nutritional Support modulate the internal environment. By considering physical comfort, mobility, nutrition and nervous system wellbeing together, the aim is to support each dog’s natural resilience, comfort and quality of life.

I am committed to a rigorous and ongoing programme of Clinical Evolution, ensuring my methodology integrates the latest Scandinavian and British research in canine longevity. My training includes, but is not limited to:
ADVANCED PHOTOMODULATION & MEDICAL LASER THERAPY (WALT SWEDEN): Extensive advanced training in high-level medical laser science, studied under the foundational clinical standards of Lars Hode and the World Association for Laser Therapy (Sweden).
NUTRITION & WELLBEING SUPPORT: Advanced studies in dietary support, canine nutrition and holistic wellbeing approaches, including early clinical mentorship and collaborative course-work review with Dr Richard Pitcairn, a global pioneer in veterinary natural health.
NEUROLOGICAL & ENERGETIC REFLEXOLOGY: Clinical workshops in canine manual therapies (Bowen) and rsupport relaxation and nervous system wellbeing, and promote deep physiological relaxation.
APPLIED CANINE ZOOPHARMACOGNOSY: Advanced study with Caroline Ingraham in botanical self-selection and the body's innate ability to achieve internal equilibrium.
