About the Holistic Vet Nurse
Lilo Ask-Henriksen
Lilo Ask-Henriksen is a Norwegian veterinary nurse based in London, specialising in holistic animal health. With years of experience and a naturally nurturing approach, she helps animals return to balance and well-being.
Her main consultation room is in Fulham, and she was previously the In-Resident Therapist at the exclusive Love My Human Townhouse on King’s Road.
My Journey
Lilo’s path into veterinary care began in 2009 with her first dog, Samba. He struggled with chronic ear and skin infections, as well as mobility issues. Despite many vet visits, nothing seemed to help. With guidance from Dr. Richard Pitcairn, she changed Samba’s diet, and within weeks, his ear infections cleared.
That experience opened Lilo’s eyes to the power of holistic care and inspired her to train as a veterinary nurse, specialising in nutrition and rehabilitation. Samba remained her greatest teacher until his passing in 2022, and his influence continues to guide her work today.
