Terms and Conditions


Please read these terms and conditions which govern the booking and use of the Holistic Vet Nurse consultations (“We”, “Us”, “Our”) by you.

  1. You must arrive 10 minutes before your treatment time, please make sure to give your pet a chance to empty their bowel and bladder before arrival.

  2. If you arrive up to 10 minutes late for your treatment, your pet’s consultation time may be reduced accordingly. If you are over 10 minutes late we may not be able to accommodate your consultation, however the full consultation charge may still apply.

  3. The therapist will assess your pet each time they see them. The length of consultation will depend on their age, breed, fitness level, health condition and other factors. The session time can range from a few minutes up to 50 minutes of actual treatment time.

  4. We require 48 hours’ notice of cancellation for a refund to be honoured. If notice of cancellation is provided after this time then the full consultation charge may still apply.

  5. All consultations are appreciated being paid in full, prior to the consultation commencing.

  6. Prepaid appointments such as packages, gift cards etc must be used within six months of payment, and can only be used by animals in the same household.

  7. Deposit is an advance payment paid as part of the full cost of your consultation booking. The deposit is non-refundable.

  8. For online consultation. Holistic Vet Nurse cannot be held responsible for connectivity, internet or technical issues and no refunds will be issued.

  9. Please note, the room will be locked 10 minutes after the start of the online consultation. Please arrive on time.

  10. The Holistic Vet Nurse Vet Referral/Consent form must be completed and returned by your vet prior to your pet undergoing any treatment.

  11. If your pet has any undiagnosed conditions that your vet has not detected, treatments may exacerbate these.

  12. You must inform us of any changes to your pet’s veterinary status or medication since completion of the Holistic Vet Nurse Vet Intake Form so we can take this into consideration when booking consultations for and treating your pet.

  13. If you have booked a course of consultations, you must make us aware if your pet’s condition has worsened at any stage so we can adapt future treatment.

  14. You must make the therapist fully aware of any handling issues/likes/dislikes your pet may have so we can safeguard our staff and your pet.

  15. Animals with infection or contagious conditions, such as ear, eye, or skin infections, gastric upset, kennel cough, including bitches in season, should NOT attend their consultation. If you are in any doubt of the health of your pet, please contact the Holistic Vet Nurse with at least 48hrs notice. Normal cancellation conditions will apply if sufficient notice is not given.

  16. We reserve the right to cancel or change any session due to unforeseen circumstances such as power failure, maintenance or illness. We will do our upmost to contact you as soon as possible if such matter occurs. A full refund will be issued.

  17. Please be respectful by ensuring your pet is clean and free from mud and grime. We have the right to refuse treatment if standards are not met.

  18. If your pet requires assistance getting into the consultation room due to a medical condition, please notify us so we can help.

  19. Please only bring the pet that is being treated with you. Please do not leave any animal unattended in a parked car.

  20. Please specify to a member of staff if you do not wish for photo or video footage of your pet to be used on our social media channels.

  21. Holistic Vet Nurse will not accept rude or intimidating behaviour from any member of public and reserve the right to refuse treatment to your pet and to require you to leave the premises.

  22. Holistic Vet Nurse shall not be liable for any injury or damage howsoever caused to your pet during a consultation, including but not limited to any claim arising from any condition of your pet that is either known or unknown to us, other than in respect of any injury or damage arising as a result of Holistic Vet Nurse’s negligence.

  23. We may change or update these terms and conditions at any time.

  24. These terms and conditions are governed by English law and any disputes arising in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
